Book Review: Unglued Devotional-60 Days of Imperfect Progress by Lysa Terkeurst

I had the pleasure of recently reading Lysa Terkeurst's Unglued Devotional.  The Devotional starts each day with a scripture verse  and then a Thought for the day, followed by a short life application story and a closing prayer. I personally enjoyed the Though for the Day, which always prompted self reflection of the topic discussed.  This book is very easy to read as each Daily devotion is only 2-3 pages.   Lysa Terkeurst is openly transparent in allowing the reader to get a glimpse into her own personal struggles.

This book is written towards women, and no matter what your age I think you could glean helpful information from this book.  As a mother I had many Yes that's one of my "Unglued" moment's when reading this book.  While I personally enjoyed this  Devotional, it reads almost like a story and I feel it would be better as perhaps a workbook or study guide. I had not read her book Unglued before reading this devotional.

Thank you to Zondervan for providing me a copy of this book to review in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
